Hamilton Boys' High School's 1st XV are the best school rugby side on the planet.

After being national champions for the past two years, HBHS won the Sanix World Rugby Youth Invitational Tournament in Fukuoka, Japan, last night (NZ time).

HBHS thrashed England's Truro College 40-8 in the final.

In the decider, first half tries to Adam Burn, Hayden Wisnewski, Jesse Dodunski and man of the match Bruce Jones, and three conversions from Josh Smith, gave HBHS a 26-3 halftime lead.

In the second spell there were tries to Kallum Andrews, Hugh Blake and Russ Parai adding the extras.
