The Harlequins Under 17 Rep team began their campaign with a convincing 31-12 over King Country Under 18's at Taupo on Saturday.
The Harlequins backs threatened the King Country defence all game and penetrated through on numerous occasions.
The Harlequins forwards set a good platform for the backs with Jason Heatherley performing superbly at Number 2 in the lineout.
This year the Harlequins Under 17's are competing in the Northern Region Under 18 B competition and they have taken maximum points from this fine display.
Stand out players were wing Jacob Ale (St Peter's School), centre Tane Mita (Cambridge High School), first five Jarrod Mongston (St Peters School) and No 8 Jacob Nield (Cambridge High School)
