The Waikato Rugby Union is one of New Zealand’s leading rugby unions.
Within the Waikato Rugby Union our Community Rugby Team is one of the most successful and passionate in New Zealand.
We are currently seeking a Rugby Development Officer.
Rugby Development officers are key members of the Community Rugby Team, ensuring that Waikato Rugby Union continues to set the standard for innovation and success of rugby development in New Zealand.
The key responsibility of this position is to build strong relationships between Clubs and Schools within the province and to provide growth and development opportunities for all coaches from Small Blacks to High Performance.
Successful applicants must have:
• Experience in sport development programmes, with a strong understanding of rugby development issues.
• A passion for rugby.
• Exceptional organisational, planning, and facilitating skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comprehensive delivery and presentation skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
