Under 18's Thrash North Harbour

Across the Waitemata Harbour, at Northcote, the Waikato under-18 had a good win against North Harbour on an over cast Saturday afternoon.
The under-18’s took a while to settle into their match and led just 10-3 at half time before taking control of the game in the second spell and going on to win by 46-6, scoring six unanswered tries. Damian Bardoul, Eli Atkins and Kallum Andrews headed Waikato’s forward effort, while the inside back pairing of Kurt Davies and Nathan George was very effective in deciding when to initiate their side’s backline attacks. George had a good day with his goal kicking, too, successful with five conversion attempts as well as two penalty goals.
