WRU Representative Coaching Vacancies

The Waikato Rugby Union is seeking applications for the following coaching roles for our representative campaigns in 2012:
Waikato Development Squad: Head Coach and Assistant Coach
Waikato Under 20: Head Coach and Assistant Coach
Waikato Under 18: Head Coach and Assistant Coach
Waikato Under 16: Head Coach and Assistant Coach
Waikato Roller Mills: Head Coach and Assistant Coach
Waikato has a proud tradition of success at all levels of representative rugby as well as creating opportunities for our players to achieve higher honours.Rep coaching positions require outstanding leadership and management skills, effective talent identification and development systems and the ability to build strong relationships and trust with all key stakeholders.
Purpose of the positions:
§ To select (in conjunction with the WRU) a Waikato Representative Squad and playing teams.
§ To coach the team, on and off the field, to a standard of excellence, demonstrating a significant improvement over the campaign, enhancing the reputation of Waikato rugby, and the Waikato representative programme.
§ To ensure that player development is the first priority
Suitable candidates must have:
§ Advanced Coaching Certificate(Level 3)
§ A proven history of developing technical and tactical skills of rugby players
§ Have been coaching within the Waikato province within the last 3 years at club or school level.
