Waikato Rugby is pleased to announce a partnership with Veo Technologies, a global leader in AI-powered sports recording.

The partnership will see Veo become an official partner of Waikato Rugby, with Waikato Rugby member clubs being able to use Veo’s AI camera technology to record their games and training and access a special discount to purchase Veo for their clubs and schools.

Waikato Rugby Participation & Development Manager, Michael Winter said the partnership would benefit Waikato Rugby across the region and give clubs access to technology to help develop their coaches and players.

Veo ANZ Market Manager, Tom Pettigrew said Veo was excited to work with Waikato Rugby to help develop the sport in the region.

“The partnership will aim to continue the great work they're doing by offering a development grant to member clubs to purchase Veo products, but also by giving their member clubs the opportunity to trial the camera to see for themselves the impact Veo can have on their players and coaches”.

As part of the partnership, Waikato Rugby member clubs and schools will receive a special $200 discount to use on purchasing Veo products. We encourage schools and clubs to contact Waikato Rugby’s Michael Winter to arrange an opportunity to trial the Veo camera.
