Waikato Rugby is pleased to announce that tickets and ticket packages are now on sale for the 2022 Bunnings National Provincial Cup (NPC) season.

The Mooloo’s will kick off their Premiership title defence when they host Hawke’s Bay Magpies, a part of a triple header at FMG Stadium Waikato on Saturday 6th August. The day begins at 11.35am with Thames Valley and New Zealand Harlequins going head-to-head in a heartland pre-season match. Followed by our Waitomo Group: Waikato FPC side taking on provincial neighbours, Bay of Plenty Volcanix, in a Chiefs Country clash, kick-off is scheduled for 2.05pm.

The final match of the day features Waikato (NPC) taking on Hawke’s Bay Magpies. Kick-off is scheduled for 4.35pm. See all three matches for the price of one with tickets starting from as little as General Admission - $20 plus free child with paying adult (Lower Brian Perry stand, Green Zone and Goal line), Premium - $30 (Upper Brian Perry stand).

The remaining 2022 Waikato NPC home fixtures include Manawatu (Friday 26 August, 7.05pm), Auckland (Friday 9 September, 7.05pm), Southland (Wednesday 14 September, 7.05pm) and Bay of Plenty (Sunday 2 October, 4.35pm). You can see all five games for as little as: General Admission - $80 (Lower Brian Perry stand, Green Zone and Goal line), Premium - $120 (Upper Brian Perry stand).

2022 sees the return of the Storm Week and Waikato NPC play two home games at FMG Stadium Waikato in week 6. The Mooloo Men kick it off with a clash against the old foe, Auckland, in a Battle of the Bombays as Waikato NPC look to win back the Stan Thomas Memorial Trophy (Friday 9th September, kickoff 7.05pm). The next home game is the mid-week clash against the men from the deep south, the Southland Stags, as they travel north to take on our Mooloo Men (Wednesday 14th September, kickoff 7.05pm). See both games for as little as: General Admission - $30 (Lower Brian Perry stand, Green Zone and Goal line), Premium - $45 (Upper Brian Perry stand). Effectively supporters are buying the Auckland game and getting the Southland Stags match at 50% off.

Our Waikato Farah Palmer Cup (FPC) side host three matches at home in 2022 – one as part of the triple header celebrations and two more where we take on Manawatu Cyclone (Saturday 16 July, 12.05pm) and Auckland Storm (Saturday 20th August, 4.35pm).

These two matches vs Manawatu & Auckland will be free to the public and we would love to see the community get in behind our Premiership FPC 2021 winners.
