Recently Waikato Rugby held our formal centenary celebrations, ‘Journey through 100 years’, in Hamilton which was an incredible milestone for us.

At the Black-Tie event we launched and raised $20,000 to contribute towards the Waikato Community Rugby Fund which due to several generous donors, currently sits at $553,883.  The fund is independently administered and invested by Waikato’s local Community Foundation,  Momentum Waikato, with proceeds directed to support amateur community rugby.

Momentum Waikato is the vehicle to receive donations for Waikato Rugby. 100% of all donations go directly into the fund and are tax-deductible.

The pandemic has been challenging for sport and the Waikato Community Rugby Fund will help secure our future and deliver on the outcomes that we as an organisation are charged to do.
