The rugby season is fast approaching and like all seasons it begins with a flurry of Rugby Smarts & Small Blacks followed by some more in-depth coaching education courses.

Kicking off in early March a month prior to our senior rugby competition getting underway our Rugby Smart Courses commence. First up our staff will be heading across to United Matamata Sports where Bedford Park hosts our first session. Followed by a further four courses throughout the Waikato to ensure all of our senior rugby coaches – see more dates below.

Backing up from 2023’s introduction of an online workshop for the experienced coaches, those online workshops are available again in 2024 through the registration process when you register for coaching in 2024.

The week following Rugby Smarts our community Game Developers are back out their facilitating and hosting Small Black Courses for junior rugby coaches & managers. There are eight Small Courses around the region to ensure we are covering as many of our clubs as possible across the Small Blacks & Rugby Smart courses.

Registrations for both Small Blacks & Rugby Smarts will be taken on the night upon arrival. Kick off for all evenings are 6.30pm. Please arrive earlier to complete the registration process.
